From an Alumnus: Linton Hall in the 1950s

I am always interested in what it was like at LHMS during the years before I attended. I have just found a long, detailed blog post by Mario Salazar, who was sent there in late August 1957, when he was 13 years old. His younger brother was sent there as well. Conditions at Linton Hall were quite similar then to what I experienced and witnessed about a dozen years after he was there, with only a few minor differences.

His post about Linton Hall Military School was published in 2022; his experience there was unforgettable, but not in a good way. I highly recommend you read it at

I encourage alumni to share their comments on his page.

He also writes about his prior experience at military school in Colombia at

http://www.21stcenturypacifist.org/?p=382

which is an eye-opening look at another military school.
